Lane County Housing Market January 2015
New listings (449) and pending sales (304) were strong this January. In fact, this was the best January for pending sales since 2007! Closed sales (216) cooled slightly (25.3%) from the 289 closings in December 2014, but were 23.4% above last January’s 175 closings. Inventory rose to 5.5 months and total market time increased to 110 days. During the past 12 months, numbers show an increase of 4.7% for average prices when compared to the previous 12 months. Comparatively there has been a 5.5% increase for median prices for the same time periods.
