Lane County Housing Market November 2015
November saw strong numbers this year in Lane County, especially for Pending Sales. The 351 accepted offers outpaced last November by 39.3%, however fell short of last month's 436. The last November with such high Pending Sales was 2005 with 353 accepted offers. Closed sales (321) bested November 2014 by 26.9%, yet similarly fell short (27.3%) of October 2015's 441 sales. On the same note, New Listings at 316 fared 24.4% over last year, but short of the 418 new listings in October.
Overall, activity has been up this year, when compared to last year's numbers. Average and Median Sale Prices have also increased. Comparing 2015 to 2014 through November of each year, the average sale price rose 3.4% and the median sale price rose 3.8%. Inventory in Months has increased to 3.4, which is expected at this time of year.
