Lane County Housing Market April 2016
Real Estate activity increased again in April. Closed sales (401) were 5.0% ahead of April 2015 (382) and 9.3% ahead of March 2016 (367).
The 553 Pending sales in April fared 6.8% better than in March 2016, but fell 0.7% short of the 557 offers accepted last year in April 2015.
Similarly, new listings (586) rose 5.0% over March 2016's 558 listings, yet fell 14.7% from Last year in April 2015 when there were 687 new listings.
Lane County saw a slight inventory decrease in April, with 2.1 months of inventory currently available. Total market time remained unchanged in April, staying at 86 days.
Average price of homes in the past 12 months compared to the previous 12 months ending in April 2015 shows a 3.4% increase. Of the same comparison with median sale price, it is showing an increase of 3.9% over the same time period.
